Looking for a new brunch spot? Head to Nolita for some inventive juices and good-for-you grub. The Butcher's Daughter has been on my to-do list for some time now, but a friend's recent birthday brunch finally landed me there. This cozy corner cafe has everything you need to start your weekend the right way. Treat your body to a Goddess of Green (kale, cucumber, green apple, fennel, pineapple, thyme, blue green algae) or refresh with a Water Flower (watermelon, fennel, honeydew, cactus pear, lime, lavender flower). Need a pick me up after a night out? Opt for the Hangover Killer (young thai coconut, pineapple, yuzu, chili, evening primrose oil, cilantro), so good you don't need to feel badly to order it.

Dine at the community table and enjoy comforting favorites like the coconut yogurt parfait or smashed avocado toast benedict (pictured below). The Butcher's Daughter supports local farms, serving fresh produce from Upstate New York and Connecticut. In a hurry? Head next door to the Butcher's Market where you can grab a juice or smoothie to go while you shop for elixirs and locally made granola.

A friendly wait staff is an extra bonus!
